Roxy had a playmate yesterday for the first time! She was the smaller one so she rolled on her back a lot!! After about twenty minutes, she gained some confidence and started chasing instead of just being the one chased. It was way cute! The white dog is called Mushu.

Jessica Andersen and I went to the Hill Cummorah Pageant last week in Palmyra New York. It was fabulous and moving! We got there early enough to get in the front middle section for seats and to see all of the costumes up close. There were over 600 cast members on the stage at one point in the show and eight hundred volunteers including the cast who put this production together. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Roxy goes potty and then walks in it so she gets lots of sink baths. If he's this good with a dog...
She has part of her chew toy hanging out of her mouth.  Every day, she gets a new chunk of that stuff in her water bowl.

Roxy is so clever that she got on top of her kennel, jumped over the gate and into the big chair on the other side!!

We saw the play "Blithe Spirit" with Angela Lansbury in it! It was amazing to see her right there on stage. It was a hilarious play and so fun!Little puppy Roxy has her own shop!

For our birthdays, Nate and I went to New York City to celebrate!  Nate had never been before and it was my second time.  It is only two hours from where we live!

We came in on the fourth of July and saw the fireworks on the harbor.  They lasted for 45 minutes!!!  Way too long.  They were still cool though.

The next day we saw a Yankees game at the new stadium in the Bronx.  The old stadium is still being torn down and it is right next to the new one.  The subway/Metro runs right next to both stadiums...you can see it from the seats we were in.  We scalped tickets from some scary guys outside of the stadium...they were hard-ballers! Here's our view of the field.  The Yankees beat the Toronto Bluejays 10 to 8!!  What a great game!

On the Statue of Liberty island, we had a perfect view of the skyline.  This is the first year that the crown and monument are open for tourists so the tickets were sold out way before we checked...we only got to see the statue from the ground, but it was still neat.

These are Roxy and Sophie's mommy and daddy: above is Jo, the dad (I think Roxy and Sophie look just like him); below is the mommy Mo...she was still weaning the puppies off of her milk.

My parents got Roxy's sister Sophie and she is a lot bigger...here she is at 12 weeks... both puppies were born on April 8, 2009.

Roxy at 12 weeks!! Isn't she adorable?!! She cries when no one is in the room with her, and she potties every time she is on the carpet. We keep her gated in the kitchen.

Here's Roxy on her first day home at 8 weeks. She was playing in the grass with my mom...she's a biter!

These are all pictures of Roxy, our puppy Dachshund when she was 6 weeks old. She is the runt of the litter and you can tell who she is cause she is always the lightest colored one.

Nate is out selling like crazy for the summer in Allentown, PA!!  This is his third summer and he is awesome- he has almost beat his total sales for last season!
